  41. The GUI Extension correct this.... AMOS doesn't use a OS friendly system
  42. for waiting events like key press, menus select etc and for this reason a
  43. tipical Do....Loop grabs the 100% of the CPU power.

  45. Using the GUI Extension and the Gui Wait command, your program grabs the
  46. 0% of the CPU like all the other standard Amiga programs.

  55. The GUI compiler is a patched version of the AMOSPro Compiler.
  56.  
  57. It creates a more OS friendly code(... i've removed ALL the AMOS hacks!
  58. Now we are working under intution, and we don't need the fucked amos patches)

  60. The programs works in multitasking! as you know you can't run 2 or more AMOS
  61. programs togheter. But using the GUI Compiler, you can do it ;)

  63. the GUI compiler has a Purify function. If you zap the executable produced
  64. by the AMOSPro compiler, you'll find tons of AMOS-related rubbish... using
  65. the GUI Compiler all the rubbish is removed

  67. i've removed/hacked some internal functions... now is impossible to discover
  68. the AMOS nature of your program! You can use SnoopDos, Scout, ARTM, SIP and
  69. so on... nothing! Expecially if you have used the Gui Amiga 1 command at
  70. the start of your program (... see the GUI Ext. doc)
